We arrived late evening. When we got to the fifth floor room the bathroom smelled realy bad. It seemed that the ventilation pushed smelly air into the bathroom rather than sucked it out. The shower was very small. The heated towel rail did not work. The room was also small and the walls were very thin so you could clearly hear conversations from the next room. There was a lot of noise from the street until 0300 so after travelling for 12 hours we got very little sleep. Got up the next morning showered and left. We had booked 2 nights but no thanks to the second. The bathrom smelled even worse the next morning. The worst "hotel" we have ever had the misfortune to come across.

Clean, very basic, bead hard as a rock, Close to train staition, noisy from street, got the room under the roof, showering becomes an adventure when you have to hold curtain with one hand to not flood hole bathcave. Never again...

Paid full price but got the bottom half of an attic room. Roof slopes so you cannot stand up on either side of the bed. Cannot sit in the chair as roof is only a foot above it. Shower is an underpressured dribble and again you have to squat to get in it. A nightmare. Hotel is full so cannot swap rooms. We have both hit our heads on the ceiling as cannot judge height at night if getting up. Bathroom door has been punched in and poorly repaired - probably by someone who just hit their head, again? Room is clean. Coffee but had to go and ask for milk. If you book here tell them you WILL NOT ACCEPT this room

Good stopover between train trips

Excellent stopover after arriving on Eurostar. Literally a five minute walk from Gare de Nord and Gare de Est. Stayed on 5th floor as previously recommended. Room small but had everything for a comfortable overnight stay. We found the bed very comfortable. Two sets of patio doors let in plenty of light. The shower is very compact. Fine for us but a bit tight if you are too much above average build. Interesting reading other reviews as we actually found it very quiet but it could be due to the time of year. We heard little of the traffic noise. The breakfast was adequate. The breakfast room is small so if full, you may need to wait a short time. We found the staff helpful and polite. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Lots of restaurants nearby. An amazing patisserie is across the street towards Gare de Nord. Excellent for getting a picnic to eat on the train. The cakes are amazing. There is also a market nearby. We will definitely stay here again when stopping over in Paris.

We booked two single person rooms at this hotel for two nights. Three months in advance of our trip, €176 (€88 per room) was charged from our Creditcard as some kind of cancellation policy. During our stay, we still had to pay the full price for two nights; the €176 was not deducted from this amount. The employee ensured us that the €176 would be transferred back to us, but we NEVER got the money back, so we paid for three nights while we only stayed two nights. The employees keep on lying about this while they stole our money and just hang up the phone if you try to communicate with them about this. Do not stay at this hotel!
